Police Records Request

To request a criminal justice record from Pagosa Springs Police Department, complete the attached form below and email to jywennerlund@pagosasprings.co.gov

• Please be aware that we try to resolve request within 5 business days, however, ongoing investigations can make that time frame impossible,
• Digital evidence cannot be sent via email,
• Reports that are referred to Municipal Court or the Archuleta County DA become their records to release,
• Not all criminal justice records are open records, and therefore cannot be released to the public,
• A non-refundable research/retrieval fee of $5.00 will be assessed for every records request, whether or not the requested records is located.  To make payment by phone, please call Pagosa Springs Police Department at (970) 264-4151 ext. 228.  A 3% processing will be applied to all card payments.  Check and cash payments are also excepted.                                                                                                                                                                                      
  • Records of Official Action (local records check)- no charge
  • Criminal Justice Records-Fees are $5.00 up to 5 pages plus $0.25 each addl. page
  • Accident Reports-Fees are $5.00 up to 5 pages plus $0.25 each addl. page
  • Records Research, Retrieval, and Redaction-Fees are $33.58 per hour
  • Body Camera Video-Fees are $33.58 per hour for redaction, plus $15.00 per USB drive
