Notice of Town Council Vacancy and Other Board Vacancies

Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 2.8 of the Pagosa Springs Town Charter, that as of March 7^th, 2023, there is one vacancy on the Pagosa Springs Town Council. The council seat is an at large seat to serve through April 2024. During a public meeting to be held on April 20, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. at Town Hall 551 Hot Springs Blvd, the Council will consider the appointment of one new Council Member to fill the vacancy.

Any elector of the Town of Pagosa Springs interested in serving on the Town Council may submit a completed application to April Hessman, Town Clerk. Applications can be downloaded below.

Applications for the Town Council vacancy must be received on or before April 12, 2023.

Vacancies also exist on the following boards:

• Planning Commission - one vacancy
• Combined Parks and Recreation Advisory Board - one vacancy
• Code Board of Appeals - two vacancies

Interested parties may submit a completed application which can be found below.  Applications can be delivered to Town Hall at 551 Hot Springs Blvd., mailed to PO Box 1859, Pagosa Springs, CO 81147, or emailed to kporter@pagosasprings.co.gov. Applications for the board vacancies must be received on or before April 30, 2023.
