The annual clean-up at Hill Top Cemetery kicks off on May 13th. Staff has already been busy at the cemetery mowing, trimming, and picking up trash. Clean-up will continue through May 23rd.

If you plan on heading up to the cemetery to clean family plots, please stop by the Town's Maintenance Facility at 550 Pirate Drive to pick up trash bags. Bags, limbs, pine needles, etc. can be left at the side of the roads to be picked up by staff at the end of the week.

Clean up efforts will take several weeks to complete and therefore may look unfinished throughout the process. Workers have already uncovered ten gravesites that were overgrown with shrubs and brush and are carefully assessing other areas that may need to be cleared around unmarked gravesites. If you know of an unmarked gravesite, please contact Kathy Harker at kharker@pagosasprings.co.gov to help us identify its location. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we take our time cleaning up the cemetery grounds.
